|  | It was a sunday afternoon when my friend suddenly called up and said that some people are flying kites at padang merdeka.
I was a bit tired, but I haven't have any events to blog bout lately. The sky was turning grey but I just grab my cam and rush over.
They were actually one of the winners from the recently concluded kite flying competition in Johor, but I wasn't really sure what prize they won. One of the guy said they got first, and the other said they got second. :S and looking the the design of the kites, I doubt they can beat countries like Japan, and Taiwan who are famous for making complicated kites.
It was really tough flying these kinda kites. With more than 200 kites flying, you just imagine the amount of force dragging upward. I would be flying like a kite it it's tied to my waist. :D
The fun didn't last long. They had to retrive back all the kites as turbulance struck. Hope to see them fly their kites again soon. And hope to see more creative designs too.
